Mortgages

My in laws are moving into our old house in the coming weeks. They will still leave it on the market–that way if it sells they can come out near us and find a ranch style home to retire in. I don’t know what the mortgage industry looks like, but hope that they would qualify mortgage life insurance. My father in law is in very poor health, and what a blessing it would be for my mother in law if anything were to happen to him.

We don’t currently have it on our home. Dangerous I know–but I do hope we are young enough not to need it!

Cakes & Aches

I have been remiss in posting my cakes! Did you know that I just finished a wedding cake? I know–I was pretty stoked too. I have a cake for a bridal shower due this weekend, and I will put it up as soon as it’s finished.

I am realizing that I need to find a good sturdy pair of shoes. Like Naot shoes! I’ve been wearing my daily flip flops for everything, and when I get up in the morning I practically fall over from the ache in my arches. Especially the mornings after I’ve stood a lot decorating cakes!

I know–the first thing they teach you is supportive, comfortable shoes. I’m just not that good at getting them on my feet!
