A New Puppy Fad–First Birthdays

I have one last cake to make tonight. It’s full of all sorts of puppy goodness! What you’ve never heard of using dog supplies to make a cake? It’s actually super healthy for them–but all dressed up like a birthday cake.

This is the one I made for my puppy’s first birthday…

It has wet puppy food in it; Strained chicken baby food; and the candle on top is a “Pupperoni” stick. My dogs like to eat people food but I had never seen them so excited about food cooking than this. They got to lick the empty baby food jars clean, and I even have a photo of them licking their side of the rubber spatula. They seemed to know that this cake was all theirs!!
